Alex Pardee Publishes ‘Doppelgangers’ Art Book with Over 275 Monsters & Maniacs

Artist Alex Pardee has published Doppelgangers, a collection of over 275 pop-culture creatures painted over the last 17 years.

The 288-page hardcover book is available for $35, or you can get it signed by Pardee for $55.

“This collection of over 275 hand-painted portraits of monsters and maniacs is not merely a tribute to nostalgia, but rather an autobiographical anthology of inspiration,” Pardee writes. “It represents more than 40 years of devouring every horror film I could sink my teeth into, often resulting in a mouth filled with blood and an appetite for more.”

If that’s not enough, Doppelgangers: Bonus Footage contains an addition 72 monsters for $20.

The best bang for your buck is the $65 bloody bundle, which includes the signed edition of Doppelgangers, a copy Bonus Footage, and a mystery 5×7 print.

Horror fans will recognize Pardee as creature designer for Adam Green‘s Digging Up the Marrow. He’s also known for creating album covers for the likes of The Used, In Flames, Aiden, Aesop Rock, and Street Drum Corps.
