Delta SkyMiles members and Uber customers in the U.S. can now link their accounts and start earning miles. The aim is to deepen the value of SkyMiles membership by enhancing the end-to-end experience.

Delta SkyMiles members and Uber customers in the U.S. can now link their accounts and start earning miles. Once linked, members will automatically earn:

  • 3 miles per eligible dollar spent on Uber Reserve trips
  • 2 miles per eligible dollar spent on premium rides such as Uber Comfort and Uber Black
  • 1 mile per eligible dollar spent on UberX rides to and from airports
  • 1 mile per eligible dollar spent on $40+ restaurant and grocery orders with Uber Eats

“SkyMiles Membership is about giving Delta’s loyal customers more ways to earn even more miles, fly with more ease, and experience more of what really matters to them,” said Prashant Sharma, V.P. of Loyalty, Delta. “Our new partnership with Uber not only expands the value of loyalty and makes it easier than ever for our members to get rewarded – it also opens the door for new audiences to find reasons to love SkyMiles, no matter how often they fly.”

Customers who use their Delta SkyMiles American Express Card on the qualifying Uber categories can earn an additional 1 mile per dollar that they can redeem with Delta.

First announced at CES 2025 during Delta CEO Ed Bastian’s keynote about the future of travel and mobility, Delta’s new exclusive rideshare and delivery partnership with Uber deepens the value of SkyMiles membership by enhancing the end-to-end experience.

“As 15% of all Uber trips either begin or end at an airport, we know that Uber is an integral part of the travel experience for millions of people,” said Camiel Irving, VP of Operations and GM Mobility, US&C, Uber. “Partnering with Delta offers an even more connected experience for those travellers, turning their everyday moments into miles that will take them even further.”

Together, Delta and Uber are also evolving the airport experience – from providing easy step-by-step instructions right in the Uber app to guide travellers from the plane straight to their ride, improved pickup and drop off experience at Delta hubs, and much more.
