Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2025 inductees: The White Stripes, Outkast, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden & more
Among this year’s nominees who didn’t make the cut: Phish, The Black Crowes, Maná, Oasis, Mariah Carey, and Joy Division/New Order.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have announced the 2025 inductees. The list includes The White Stripes, Soundgarden, and Cyndi Lauper, all of whom had been nominated before, plus first-time nominees Outkast, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, and Bad Company.
Additionally, Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will receive the Music Influence Award, and Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye will receive the Musical Excellence Award, and Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
The announcement was made during tonight’s episode of American Idol. Watch that below.

The 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony happens November 8 at LA’s Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and you can stream it live on Disney+ and stream it on Hulu starting the next day. An edited-down version will air on ABC sometime after that.
