Misterial Games Reveals Early Access Roadmap for ‘Stygian: Outer Gods’

With Stygian: Outer Gods out now in Early Access, Fulqrum Publishing and developer Misterial Games have revealed the roadmap for the Lovecraftian Survival Horror title, detailing the upcoming new content coming to the game throughout its Early Access period.

Before the game’s final 1.0 release, Misterial Games plan to deliver two new locations – the otherworldly House of Mists with its surrounding area, and the mysterious Brasko family Mansion. Both of these locales will include new characters and enemies, along with challenging puzzles and quests.

In addition to these new locations, there will be a whole host of other additions to Stygian: Outer Gods, including new characters and monsters, new quests, and new artifacts, items, and weapons.

On the technical side, the game will see updates that aim to improve optimization and balancing, as well as localization for additional languages, and more voice-over talent.

Even with all of that, the devs plan on including new boss fights, as well as even more locations, characters, monsters, crafting recipes and more, for the game’s full release.

Stygian: Outer Gods aims to leave Early Access on Steam “in the first half of 2026.” However, Misterial Games does say that in order to ensure the game is as polished as possible before leaving Early Access, they may decide to extend the development period beyond original estimates.
