World of Hyatt points sales usually offer a maximum 40% bonus or 30% discount during regular sales.

The cost of a World of Hyatt point purchased under this offer at a 25% discount is 1.95 cents each. During the previous sales in 2024, the lowest price of a point was usually 1.68 cents.

Does it make sense to purchase points at this price?

It only makes sense if you use them at costly Hyatt properties such as the Park Hyatt Maldives, Kyoto, or Tokyo. However, lower-category properties sometimes make sense when the paid rates are high.

You can book award rooms with Hyatt if standard rooms are available for sale. This means that points are usually a good value if something is happening in the city, bringing the paid rates throughout the roof.

It’s worthwhile to check the current points rates if you have a particular stay in mind.

Conclusion
