GERMANY. Our latest images come courtesy of Düsseldorf Airport, which is celebrating the Netherlands’ national holiday King’s Day (26 April) with a week-long orange-themed tribute to its neighbour.
Located near the Dutch border, the airport greets visitors with playful signage renaming it ‘Düsseldorf Luchthaven’ and announcements in Dutch.
Dutch-inspired selfie spots and curated treats from Marché and Gebr. Heinemann complete the experience, all in celebration of the vibrant theme – ‘Luchthaven Düsseldorf – voor jou oranje’ (Düsseldorf Airport – for you, orange).
