In addition, a VR version will also be released on the same day for Steam VR, and will see a release on the Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2 at a later date.
Previously known as Unseen, Out of Sight is described as a “deeply atmospheric horror game” that blends first and second-person perspectives. You play as Sophie, a young girl with blindness who relies on her faithful teddy bear to guide her. You’ll need it, as Sophie is trapped in a haunted house, and must find a way out before it’s too late.
You must rely on your wits and instincts to overcome the many challenges of the mansion. That includes having to not only grapple with the game’s unique perspective, but also piece together the chilling story buried within the mansion’s walls.
That also includes having to avoid Sophie’s relentless captors by hiding in various place while finding out the truth behind Sophie’s capture.
And as mentioned, Out of Sight VR will also be released on May 22, which is co-developed by Flat2VR Studios. You can also check out the demo for Out of Sight via Steam.
