Hong Kong International Airport issues tender for bakery and festive food concession

HONG KONG, CHINA. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has invited potential retail partners to bid for a local-style bakery and festive food concession at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1.

The contract covers two outlets – an 84sq m space at the Departures Check-in Hall located on Level 7 and a 60sq m unit at the Departures West Hall on Level 6.

The latest Hong-Kong bakery and festive food concession will bolster the already strong food & beverage line-up in Terminal 1

Bids are due by 20 May at 4pm (Hong Kong time).

Announcing the tender, AAHK said: “HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links as well as round-the-clock facilities. Through offering premium products and services, the authority strives to provide the best shopping experience for our passengers.”

The tender documents are available for download at AAHK’s electronic tendering system – ePROS website.

Potential bidders must hold a valid registered account as ‘Retailer/F&B Operator’ and pay a non-refundable fee of HK$5,000 (US$644) to access the documents. ✈
