Bvlgari and Avolta partner for dual counter openings at Madrid Airport
Throughout February, the corners were complemented by two promotional spaces which invited travellers to embark on an immersive experience into the Allegra’s world of Italian emotions.


SPAIN. Italian luxury house Bvlgari has unveiled two fragrance corners at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport in partnership with Avolta. Located in Terminal 4, the openings mark a significant expansion of its travel retail footprint in Spain.
Debuted in February, the dual corners blend Roman-inspired design with a sensory storytelling approach that brings the Allegra universe to life. Each space features refined travertine marble elements and saffron backdrops – designed to evoke the glow of a Roman sunset – set against the collection’s vivid hues.
Throughout February, the openings were amplified by two additional promotional spaces. The activations offered a multi-sensory experience featuring on-counter personalisation services such as custom greeting cards and curated gifting opportunities.
To celebrate the openings the Bvlgari Allegra Maxi Shelley scarves were made available in Spain for the first time, exclusively at Madrid Airport with Avolta. Crafted in Lake Como at Bvlgari’s dedicated silk atelier, the scarves feature bold, emotive prints that mirror each Allegra fragrance’s essence.
The versatile accessories are designed to offer a multitude of styling options, adding a tactile and fashionable element to the fragrance experience.

Bvlgari Allegra
Allegra means ‘joyful’ in Italian and each scent from the Bvlgari Allegra collection is described as a celebration of Italian emotions. The Riva Solare Eau de Parfum evokes the Italian Riviera sun; the Spettacolore Eau de Parfum is inspired by the winter solstice in Puglia; the Dolce Estasi Eau de Parfum evokes the comfort of Italian desserts; the Baciami Eau de Parfum is an expression of the pure passion of Italian love; while Chill & Sole is a celebration of summers in the Mediterranian, the brand owner said.
Each fragrance can be personalised with seven Magnifying Essences, including bergamot, made with the zest of freshly harvested citrus fruits.
The collection was expanded with the Bvlgari Allegra Art of Living bath and body line, which debuted in global travel retail at Singapore Changi Airport last year. Available in two signature scents – Baciami and Riva Solare – the collection brings the fragrance experience into the realm of daily self-care, offering a luxurious take on wellbeing that transforms everyday rituals into indulgent moments of joy.
