First Look Teaser Trailer for '100 Meters' Anime About Runner Rivalry

GKids has revealed a first look teaser trailer for a highly anticipated new anime film called 100 Meters, made by filmmaker Kenji Iwaisawa (On-Gaku: Our Sound) as his latest big animation project. The film is set to debut first in Japanese theaters in September, before opening in US theaters this October in the fall. Gifted runner Togashi dominates 100m races until transfer student Komiya arrives. As he helps teach him and improve his technique, it also motivates him to train harder. Years later, they compete as rivals on the racetrack, revealing their true selves. The film was previewed as a work-in-progress at the 2024 Annecy Film Festival last year. Featuring music by Hiroaki Tsutsumi. The voice cast includes Shouta Sometani and Tori Matsuzaka. This is a cool teaser - packing in tons of footage in 45 seconds!
