Paul W.S. Anderson’s Adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s ‘In the Lost Lands’ Hits Blu-ray in June

From director Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Event Horizon), In the Lost Lands will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on June 10 via Vertical.

No special features are included. The dark fantasy action film is currently on Digital.

It’s based on the 1982 short story by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, who called the film “dark and twisted and atmospheric, and a lot of fun.”

Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) star with Arly Jover (Blade).

A queen sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys (Jovovich) to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of a magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Bautista), must outwit and outfight man and demon.

Constantin Werner (The Pagan Queen) penned the script.

Anderson is currently developing a new adaptation of the video game The House of the Dead.
