Fans Choose Kenia OS & Anitta’s ‘En 4’ as Their Favorite New Latin Music of the Week
The pair's first collaboration generated more than 70% of the vote in last week's poll.

Kenia OS and Anitta’s “En 4” has topped Billboard’s latest new Latin music poll published on Friday, April 18. In support of the weekly New Music Latin roundup and playlist, curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors, music fans voted for the Mexican pop artist’s new track in collaboration with the Brazilian superstar as their favorite music release of the week.
The saucy reggaetón, produced by Jorge Milliano and Mario Cáceres, generated more than 72% of the vote, beating out other new releases last week including Beéle and Marc Anthony’s “Dios Me Oyó”; Xavi and Neton Vega’s “Hija de Papi”; Ángela Aguilar’s “Nadia Se Va Como Llegó;” and Cris MJ’s “Frozen,” to name a few.
Coming in at second place was Aguilar’s melancholic ranchera with nearly 22% of the vote.
Blending perreo-pop with Brazilian funk melodies, “En 4” is charged with rhythm, sensuality and provocative lyrics about two girl friends hooking up each other rather than with a boy they meet on a night out. “I easily forget men/ If you ask me, I’ll stay with my friend,” Anitta chants in the track. A just as steamy music video, directed by Daniel Eguren, shows Kenia under a more bold and daring lens.
On the previous New Music Latin poll, Cuban singer Yeisy Rojas “Inmigrante y Qué?” — a fusion of rumba cubana, funk, salsa and hip-hop — won the fan-related music poll. See the results of the latest one below that also included new collaborations by Ryan Castro & Peso Pluma, Omar Courtz & Bad Gyal, and Ana Bárbara & Yahritza y Su Esencia.
