EVANSTON FOLK FESTIVAL

The 2025 Evanston Folk Festival happens September 6 & 7 in Evanston, IL. Iron & Wine and Margo Price headline, and the lineup also includes Bonny Light Horsemen, Watchhouse, Tune-Yards, Loudon Wainwright III, John Moreland, Marc Ribot, Sunny War and more.

Southern California shoegazers Cold Gawd are going on a North American tour with Newmoon this summer, beginning at Brooklyn’s The Woodshop on July 22.

Kublai Khan TX are teaming up with Drain, Gideon, and Guilt Trip for a fall tour, including a Sayreville, NJ show at Starland Ballroom on September 21.

HUDSON RIVER MUSIC FESTIVAL

Inspired by Clearwater Festival and Pete and Toshi Seeger, the new Hudson River Music Festival happens on Saturday, June 14 at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. The lineup includes Grahame Lesh & Friends, Lucius (acoustic) featuring Dawes’ Griffin & Taylor Goldsmith, Madison Cunningham, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Jorma Kaukonen, Steve Earle & Friends, and more.

LA rap group Shoreline Mafia announced the “Back in Bidness” tour, including an NYC show at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on September 20.

LADY GAGA Now that Coachella is over, Lady Gaga added new Los Angeles and San Francisco shows to her Mayhem Ball arena tour. U.S. GIRLS Meg Remy will be joined by some new bandmates when she takes U.S. Girls on on tour this summer. JERRY HARRISON & ADRIAN BELEW REMAIN IN LIGHT Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew added new dates to their ongoing tour playing Talking Heads’ Remain in Light in full. GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR Godspeed You! Black Emperor added some new fall shows following their other tour dates this year. ANDY BELL (ERASURE) Erasure’s Andy Bell will support his upcoming album Ten Crowns on a North American solo tour. III POINTS The Miami festival announced its initial 2025 lineup, which includes Turnstile, Mk.gee, Denzel Curry, Darkside, Peggy Gou, and more. JOHN MULANEY John Mulaney’s new standup tour, “Mister Whatever,” has Jon Stewart, Pete Davidson, Martin Short, Fred Armisen, Mike Birbiglia, and Nick Kroll each joining him for a few select shows. UNWOUND Unwound will celebrate 30 years of The Future of What on tour this fall. DELTRON 3030 The trio of rapper Del the Funky Homosapien, producer Dan the Automator, and turntablist Kid Koala will celebrate 25 years of their classic self-titled debut on tour. ELVIS COSTELLO Elvis Costello added new fall shows to his Radio Soul! tour, which has him backed by The Imposters and Charlie Sexton playing material from the first decade of his career. ROCK THE BELLS LL Cool J’s hip hop festival moves to Newark for 2025, and the lineup includes Busta Rhymes, Eric B & Rakim, KRS-One, Redman, and more. LIL WAYNE Lil Wayne will celebrate the arrival of Tha Carter VI with a Madison Square Garden show. PULP Pulp will return to North America in September for a tour supporting More, their first album in 24 years. ALL THINGS GO NYC The NYC edition of the multi-city festival has Doechii, Lucy Dacus, Clairo, The Marías, Remi Wolf, Blondshell, and more. BOUNCING SOULS Bouncing Souls added openers to this year’s edition of their annual “Stoked for the Summer” Asbury Park show.
