Lil Wayne To Make Madison Square Garden Debut

The Super Bowl may be off Lil Wayne's radar these days, but Madison Square Garden surely isn't. With Tha Carter VI confirmed to drop everywhere on June 6, Weezy announced he'll be making his headlining MSG debut that night to celebrate the anticipated album's release.The sixth installment of Wayne's Tha Carter series follows up on its predecessor, Tha Carter V, which dropped back in 2018. The Carter VI will also mark the rapper's first solo studio project since 2020's Funeral. As revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone last week, the album is expected to feature contributions from Wyclef Jean, Andrea Bocelli, Miley Cyrus, Elephant Man, Machine Gun Kelly, Bono, Wheezy, his son Kameron Carter, and potentially, Ye. An uncleared Billie Eilish sample was also discussed in the interview.
