Pulp have shared details of a North American tour, set to kick off later this year. Find out the details below.
It comes as the iconic Britpop group recently announced their comeback – dropping the anthemic new single ‘Spike Island’ and confirming that they will be releasing a new album titled ‘More’.
Now, having shared news of two special intimate gigs in London to celebrate the record – which will mark their first in 24 years – Jarvis Cocker and co. have revealed plans for a new tour.
The band shared the news today (April 22) on social media, sharing a list of 11 new shows across the US and Canada this September. They will kick off the gigs with an opening night in Atlanta on September 4, and continue throughout the month with stops in Washington, Philadelphia, Queens, Boston and Toronto.
Other dates include stops in Detroit and Minneapolis, before a huge set at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on September 22 and two back-to-back nights at the Hollywood Bowl in California on September 25 and 26, alongside LCD Soundsystem.
“Pulp are thrilled to announce More concerts in the US & Canada this September. After having so much fun with y’all last year, how could we resist coming back for More ?” the band wrote in the caption.
The frontman also shared his own post announcing the tour dates, writing: “Yes – it is happening again. Pulp are playing in America in September.
“I will have a U.S. birthday for the second year running,” he added. “We will dance together again. I can hardly wait!”
Tickets go on sale on Friday (April 25) at 10am local time, and pre-sale options are available from tomorrow (April 23). Visit here for tickets and find a list of new tour dates below.

The news of new material from Pulp comes after the members reunited in 2023 for the first Pulp shows since 2012 and signed a new record deal with Rough Trade last year. They had also been teasing new material on the road, breaking out unreleased tracks like ‘Farmer’s Market’, ‘Spike Island’, ‘My Sex’, ‘You’ve Got To Have Love’, ‘Background Noise’ and ‘A Sunset’.
Pulp’s seventh and latest studio album, ‘We Love Life’, was released in 2001. They then shared ‘After You’ – their first single in over a decade – through Rough Trade in 2012, as part of their first reunion.
Alongside the North American shows – which follow 2024 tour dates – Cocker and co also have a string of UK and European dates planned for later this summer. These include a huge homecoming gig at Tramlines in Sheffield, a headline set at Bilbao BKK in Spain, and a full 2025 UK arena tour. You can head here for tickets and more information.
As for what to expect from the new LP, last year guitarist Mark Webber spoke to NME about the sound of upcoming music, saying: “We’re older so it’s a bit more mature, but that makes it sound boring! It’s somewhere between mature and frothy pop music.”
In other Pulp news, the band’s frontman recently declared that they would only play Glastonbury 2025 “in a life or death situation”, and Jarvis Cocker recalled how his infamous Michael Jackson BRITs stunt affected his mental health.
