BTS’ Jin shocks in new preview for Netflix variety show ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’

Netflix has shared a brand-new preview for upcoming variety series Kian’s Bizarre B&B,  starring BTS singer Jin and more.

The preview, shared by Netflix on April 6, offers a glimpse into the first time the main trio of the show met to film the show. Beloved webtoon artist-turned-entertainer Kian tells the crew that he is excited for SNL Korea comedian Ji Ye-eun to join him as they run a bed-and-breakfast together on Ulleungdo island. However, he knows nothing about the third cast member other than the fact that “they’re a top star”.

When BTS singer Jin unexpectedly makes his appearance, Kian84 and Ji Ye-eun are shocked. “He’s BTS,” Ji says in disbelief, to which Jin jokingly replies, “How did they know [that I’m a member of BTS]?” The atmosphere after is awkward, but sets the stage for the growth of the chemistry between the trio as the show chugs along.

Kian’s Bizarre B&B is the latest variety offering from the creators of hit show Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast, touted by Netflix as a show “all about the fun and unpredictability of trying something new, with your friends helping you every step of the way”. The unscripted series is scheduled to premiere its first three episodes on April 8, with new episodes dropping every week thereafter.

Kian’s Bizarre B&B was first announced by Netflix in early February, as part of a preview of the streamer’s upcoming slate of Korean originals to hit screens in 2025. The show is part of a wider line-up of unscripted series from Netflix this year, with the likes of Culinary Class Wars season two, The Devil’s Plan season two and more set to premiere before the year’s end.
