15 New Songs Out Today
Listen to new songs by Doves, Young Widows, Broncho, TRSH, Fish Narc, Nouvelle Vague, PUNCHBAG, The Convenience, and more.

So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

South London duo PUNCHBAG (siblings Clara and Anders Bach) have signed to Mute Records and released the first single for the label. “Fuck It” melds rock and electronica with shades of the late-’90s. “It’s not nihilistic,” Clara says. “It’s more like, we only have so much time, so do the thing you want to do. Kiss the person you want to kiss, say that thing you want to say.”
—
THE CONVENIENCE – “DUB VULTURES”
The Convenience’s Nick Corson says “Dub Vultures” was “Written and demoed in 15 mins in an agitated state,” adding, “Realized later I took the title from a New Order remix, but theirs was just a pun on their song ‘Sub-culture’ (shrug). I hesitate to speculate what ours is about but I think it’s got somethin’ to do with drones. Recording was frustrating—toyed with each individual instrument forever but in the end kept it almost exactly the same as the first day we tracked it.” The Convenience’s new album Like Cartoon Vampires is due April 18 via Winspear.
