Trailer: Maggie Q In “Bosch” Spin-Off “Ballard”

Amazon Prime Video has released the teaser trailer for its new “Bosch” spin-off “Ballard” led by Maggie Q as Detective Renee Ballard.

With Titus Welliver effectively stepping down as his Harry Bosch character once “Bosch: Legacy” wraps up, the actor is also putting in a brief appearance here to help launch the show.

In the series, Q’s Ballard leads the LAPD’s new cold-case unit – a poorly funded, all-volunteer unit with the largest caseload in the city. Ballard approaches these old cases with empathy and determination.

Soon she uncovers a larger conspiracy during her investigations, she’ll lean on the assistance of her retired ally, Harry Bosch (Welliver), to navigate the dangers that threaten both her unit and her life.

Also starring are John Carroll Lynch, Rebecca Field, Michael Mosley, Amy Hill, Victoria Moroles, Courtney Taylor, Hector Hugo, Noah Bean, Michael Cassidy, and more.
