We’ve got some pretty cool movies coming up at Marvel, ones that I’m super excited about, and I’m sure that aside from their great-looking trailers, they’ll have some twists and surprises that we don’t see coming. Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps are the first films to start paving our way toward the next Avengers films, and I expect to (hopefully) be surprised by some plotlines and cameos along the way. If you feel the same and want to err on the side of caution, maybe don’t read on because the latest rumor heads into spoiler territory. CBM reports that industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH has dropped a huge bombshell by claiming that Captain America actor Chris Evans will appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. After bidding farewell to Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame, the actor showed up in last year's Deadpool & Wolverine as the Human Torch (a role he first took on in pre-MCU 2005). There's no word on who he might be playing here, though a Variant of Captain America seems most likely. There’s even a possibility that his Multiversal variant is as evil as Robert Downey Jr.’s former Iron Man, now Doctor Doom, who leads a Multiversal Cabal, so it’s a possibility that the former Steve Rogers could be part of that.
