T-Pain & Wyclef Jean to Headline Trackside Concerts at Preakness Stakes Horse Race
The musicians will perform on a stage that can be seen from Baltimore's Preakness 150 grandstand on May 17.

T-Pain and Wyclef Jean will perform at this year’s Preakness Stakes as part of the race day’s annual entertainment.
On Thursday (May 1), Preakness 150 organizers announced that Jean and T-Pain would perform trackside at Baltimore’s Pimlico Race Course. The performances will go down on May 17 and will not be part of a wider music festival this year. Instead, the two stars will perform on a redesigned stage that can be seen from the grandstand.
Wyclef Jean will perform a multi-song live set for the national NBC broadcast, followed by another blockbuster performance by T-Pain after the final race of Preakness 150.
“The 150th Preakness Stakes is a milestone moment for Baltimore and in sports history,” said Belinda Stronach, chairman and CEO, 1/ST Racing & Gaming. “The Preakness holds a unique place as one of the longest and continuously held sporting events in the United States and 1/ST is proud to be part of that legacy. Preakness 150 is a celebration of racing, entertainment, culture and community, and is the kick off to a bright new era for Thoroughbred racing in Maryland.”
The news comes after T-Pain performed noteworthy sets at both Stagecoach and Coachella last month. His Preakness performance will also serve as a prelude for his upcoming Wiscansin Festival, which will go down in Milwaukee on June 13 and 14. Other artists slated to make appearances include Pusha T, Wale, Keyshia Cole, Feid, NLE Choppa, DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), Jermaine Dupri, Kash Doll, Armani White, Prof and more.
As for Wyclef, he was just honored at the Music Will event in New York back in April.
