Lenny Kravitz has shown fans a look at one of his homes, which has a private nightclub in the basement. Check out footage of it below.

The iconic musician shared a first look at his home as part of a new feature in Architectural Digest, showing off his home in Paris and the chic interior design he opted for.

In the footage shared by the outlet, the ‘Fly Away’ singer and guitarist shared that he had named the home “Hotel Roxie” in honour of one of his parents. “It was named after my mother because it was her dream to come live in Paris,” he explained, leading the camera crew through the home. “She wanted to retire after doing 11 seasons of The Jeffersons, and she never got to do it. So I’m doing it for both of us. This place is a real gift.”

His mother, Roxie Roker, was an actor most widely known for her portrayal of Helen Willis on the CBS sitcom. She died in 1995.

For the most part, the interior took on a classic contemporary design, featuring abstract artwork on the walls and a lavish grand piano in his entry hall which he personally designed with Steinway. He also went on to share that he has lived there for 22 years, and that the real “heart and soul” of the home was in the basement, which he had converted into a full-blown nightclub to entertain guests.

Other highlights of the tour included an entire room dedicated to his mother and another room made in honour of the late boxing legend Muhammed Ali.

“What I love about Muhammad Ali is the humanitarian work, the civil rights work, he was a freedom fighter, and that is so important,” he explained, before going on to discuss the home as a whole. “It represents so many parts of my history, my story, and my evolution.”

Explaining why he chose to get a home in Paris, Kravitz recalled how he was sent to the city after label heads couldn’t work out how to market him in the US, and that the French capital went on to become his “favourite city in the world”.

“It’s just an inspiring place, culturally: music, art, fashion, cuisine. It’s got it all. I love Paris. I walked through the front door into this entry, and I knew I was home.” Check out the full video above.

As highlighted by Travel Noire, this isn’t the only impressive bit of real estate owned by the guitarist. The ‘American Woman’ singer also owns a customised Airstream trailer in the Bahamas and a nearly 1000-acre former coffee plantation in Brazil.

In other Lenny Kravitz news, the musician completed his run of 2025 European tour dates earlier this week. The shows came as an extension of his ‘Blue Electric Light’ tour, which began in 2024, and celebrated the release of his 12th studio album.

Elsewhere, last year the musician headlined the UEFA Champions League final show in London. The four-time Grammy Award winner performed as part of the Pepsi Kick Off Show at the Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid on June 1 at London’s Wembley Stadium.
