Night Shift, the 2018 retro-style indie horror game developed by Puppet Combo, is headed to the big screen.
Shot on 16mm, the feature film adaptation is currently in post-production for a planned theatrical release in October.
It follows a young woman named Debra as she works the overnight shift at a minimum wage gas station job. What begins as routine shelf-stocking and floor-sweeping quickly spirals into paranoia, dread, and blood-soaked madness as a masked killer lurks in the shadows.
The slasher is written and directed by Puppet Combo creator Ben Cocuzza, who also helmed the game.
Adrianne Knapp stars with Justin West (“Ghost Adventures”), Phu Mau, and Donald Morgan, plus cameos from YouTubers Justin Whang and John Wolfe.
Night Shift will stay true to Puppet Combo’s signature VHS-style aesthetic and attention to detail for an authentic ’80s slasher-style experience.
