Carter (“Black Panther”) has confirmed a longstanding rumor that Marvel Studios’ “Blade” reboot was going to be a period film before delays attributed to the actors’ and writers’ strikes led her to reunite with Ryan Coogler on his own vampire flick “Sinners” as the Marvel pic was placed on hold.
