On Tuesday, March 25, the 31-year-old country singer shared a video of himself wiping out mid-performance while opening for Kane Brown’s High Road Tour.

“Who put that there?” McCreery joked on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “The Stage: 1, Me: 0,” over the clip.
In the footage, the American Idol alum (who won season 10 of the hit singing competition in May 2011) is seen pretending to fire an imaginary shotgun into the air — and then losing his balance. He appeared to land on his left wrist but bounced up quickly.
Backstage, McCreery’s crew didn’t let it slide. When asked about the highlight of the night, one team member said, “Scotty falling.” Another joked, “Glad he didn’t hurt himself, but it was just a little enjoyable.”
