A woman vlogging through her dating struggles soon finds herself on a date with a bloodsucker in director Patrick Rea’s The Night Is Young, headed our way here in early 2025.
The Night Is Young will release on digital platforms on April 18, 2025, including Tubi TV, Chilling, Scare Network TV, Kings of Horror, Watch Movies Now and many more.

Starring Sarah McGuire, Valeri Bates, and Jake Jackson, the movie from Terror Films Releasing follows Nora, a vlogger looking for love, who meets Emilia, a vampire being hunted. Nora and Emilia must race the clock together to escape the vampire hunters before the sun rises.
Patrick Rea said in a statement, “As a director I’ve always tried to do something different with each feature I’ve made. I have always been a fan of the found footage genre since seeing the film The Blair Witch Project in the summer of ‘99. However, I wanted to make something that took the subgenre in a fresh direction, yet still maintaining the spirit of what audiences have come to expect.
“In the summer of 2023, Jake Jackson, Sarah McGuire and I decided to make this project a reality and shot the film over the course of 12 days all over Kansas City. We were lucky to have collaborated with a great group of actors and crew to make what we consider to be a fun found- footage style horror film that combines humor, scares and characters who are likable. We hope you enjoy the movie and that it leaves you wanting to see these characters again.”
