Voting for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards just got a bit more interesting now that the Television Academy has announced its first-ever Televerse festival.
The multi-day event is set to run Aug. 14-16 at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live and will give both fans and voters “unprecedented access” to Emmy-nominated TV shows from every network and studio.
“This is an exciting time in the evolution of television and the Academy, and our members are at the forefront of cutting-edge production and innovative storytelling,” TV Academy chair Cris Abrego said in a Thursday statement. “We will bring the best in the business together for Televerse, deliver remarkable access to a wide range of programming, and provide an extraordinary forum for the exchange of new ideas and industry innovation.”
The festival will notably take place before the final round of Emmys voting, which means the featured For Your Consideration panels could, in theory, impact the awards show’s outcome. Televerse will also include insider discussions, meet-and-greets, interactive exhibits, premieres and previews of upcoming programs.
The 2025 Emmys are set to air Sept. 14 on CBS and Paramount+.
