The Alec Baldwin-led Western, “Rust,” resumed the New Mexico production in 2023 after the shooting death of the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021 at the hands of the producer/actor who plays an outlaw, Harland Rust, in the film that now has a first-look trailer ahead of a theaterical release in May. “Rust” was written and directed by Joel Souza from a story put together by both Souza and Baldwin.
