London’s BST Hyde Park has announced a Darts Championship for this summer, featuring top players like Luke Littler and Luke Humphries. Find all the details below.
The 2025 edition of the annual concert series will feature headline performances from Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan and Jeff Lynne’s ELO.
In addition to its music programme, organisers are putting on the BST Hyde Park Open House midweek series of events – including Wimbledon screenings and an outdoor cinema (visit here for more info).
Today (April 22), it’s been confirmed that BST 2025 is also hosting a PDC Darts Pro-Am tournament on Tuesday July 8.
The aforementioned Littler and Humphries will play alongside the likes of Fallon Sherrock and Michael Van Gerwen in front of thousands of fans in the capital. They’ll be joined by special guests Olly Murs, Roman Kemp and Dion Dublin.
The Hyde Park Darts Championship will be played out on BST Hyde Park’s famous Great Oak Stage.
Tickets for the event also include access to The Summer Garden, simultaneously hosting BREW//LDN – renowned as the UK’s largest craft drinks festival.
Matthew Porter, Chief Executive at PDC, said: “We’re really looking forward to putting on a world-class darts show as part of this year’s BST Hyde Park Open House Festival.
“It’s an iconic part of British Summer Time and darts is an iconic part of British culture so to bring the two together is a really exciting concept and we can’t wait for what will be a fun, entertaining evening.”
Tickets for the Hyde Park Darts Championship go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (May 2) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, Amex customers can access a pre-sale at the same time next Tuesday (April 29).
There is also a sponsor pre-sale and one from AEG/Royal Parks/Westminster next Thursday (May 1).
The new World Darts Champion, teenage sensation Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler, has taken the darting world by storm. He followed up his historic run to the 2023/24 World Championship final by capturing the Premier League title in his first year as a professional. The 18-year-old ended his first year on the circuit full-time by claiming World Championship glory in January, defeating Michael van Gerwen in the final at Alexandra Palace.
Luke Humphries – aka ‘Cool Hand Luke’ – has enjoyed a huge rise to prominence since winning his first TV title at the 2023 World Grand Prix, following up with Grand Slam of Darts and Players Championship Finals success before a famous victory at Alexandra Palace in January 2024.
The former World Champion took England to victory on his World Cup of Darts debut last June, added the World Matchplay title to his résumé in July, and retained his Players Championship Finals title in November.
