Kelsey Grammer's Beast Confirmed For AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

It’s been rumored that Kelsey Grammer would return as Beast in Avengers: Doomsday after appearing in The Marvels post-credits scene. Well, Marvel Studios has confirmed his casting during their announcement live-stream. Between The Marvels tease and Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel has set the stage for mutants from Fox’s X-Men universe (aka Earth-10005) to play a big role in what’s to come.It’s being speculated by fans that an incursion between Earth-10005 and Earth-616 could lead to a Avengers vs. X-Men showdown in live action. One thing we know for sure is that worlds are going to collide in a big way!Grammer previously did acknowledge the fan reaction to his return, saying: "There was a huge sort of outburst when I showed up at the end of The Marvels. It wasn’t unexpected... but it was pretty overwhelming, and so there are some conversations."Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also teased more X-Men on the horizon: "I think you will see that continue in our next few movies with some X-Men players that you might recognize." He went on to say that Secret Wars will lead directly into "a new age of mutants and of the X-Men."Beast has appeared in nearly every X-Men movie since The Last Stand, with Nicholas Hoult taking over for Grammer in the prequels. But the character has never really quite reached his full potential on screen. It will be interesting to see how Grammer’s beast will end up playing into the story. Other cast members announced so far include Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Florence Pugh, and Simu Liu, have been revealed. So that’s Thor, the Invisible Woman, Captain America, Bucky, Black Panther, Ant-Man, US Agent, Namor, The Thing, Yelena Belova, and Shang-Chi all locked in for the 2026 release.
