TALLINN, ESTONIA – Tallinn Airport, renowned for its exceptional service quality, announce the launch of new sporty initiatives designed to enhance the passenger experience. Recognized for seven consecutive years with the prestigious ASQ (Airport Service Quality) Award from ACI World in the 2-5 million passenger category, Tallinn Airport continues to innovate by introducing fitness and interactive sports activities to keep travellers active and entertained.

Riivo Tuvike, Chairman of the Management Board of Tallinn Airport, stated, “At Tallinn Airport, we have collaborated with various companies to brand different gates, creating a playful and cozy atmosphere that goes beyond typical airport gates. This unique approach not only offers variety for frequent travellers but also provides our partners with distinctive branding opportunities, generating additional advertising revenue for the airport.”

In March, Tallinn Airport introduced a fitness centre at Gate 7 in partnership with local sports club chain MyFitness. The gym features cardio machines, a dedicated yoga area, treadmills, back benches, and more, catering to all fitness levels. Best of all, it’s completely free for travellers to use, allowing them to stay active and energized before their flights.

Riivo Tuvike added, “Exercise is important, and we are thrilled to offer travellers the opportunity to work out before their flights in collaboration with MyFitness. Additionally, our airport cafés provide a variety of healthy food options and heartier meals for those looking to refuel after their workout. Tallinn Airport is more than just a place to catch a flight – it’s a destination where travellers can enjoy exercise, wellness, and sport as part of their journey.”

In celebration of Tallinn’s designation as the European Capital of Sport in 2025, the airport has partnered with the City of Tallinn to provide travellers with additional opportunities to stay active. At Gate 9, passengers can engage in activities such as ping-pong, checkers, and hopscotch. Fitness enthusiasts can challenge themselves with bike and ski trainers or unwind while watching live broadcasts of major international sports events.

Tallinn Airport has also introduced a Paralympics gate in collaboration with the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum. This exhibition highlights the fascinating world of parasports, and the specialized equipment used by athletes with disabilities. It provides an educational and interactive experience, allowing passengers to explore the history and development of Paralympic sports.

Tallinn Airport continues to serve as Estonia’s main air gateway, providing a supportive platform for partners to create cozy and engaging experiences for travellers. Whether you want to stretch before your flight, participate in interactive sports, or learn about the history of the Paralympics, there’s something for everyone. Next time you pass through, be sure to explore our new sporty offerings and experience a whole new side of travel – or simply relax and enjoy the world’s coziest airport.
