From local champions to global icons: China Duty Free Group majors on national brands
CDFG has signed agreements with eight Chinese brands to help accelerate their global expansion, saying they “exemplify the rise of national trends, blending traditional culture with modern design”.

CHINA. The burgeoning ‘China Chic’ concept was to the fore at the China Duty Free Group (CDFG) 2025 Global Brands Meeting held in Sanya, Hainan province earlier this month.
At the event, attended by The Moodie Davitt Report Chief China Representative Zhang Yimei, CDFG signed agreements with eight representative Chinese brands to accelerate their global expansion.
CDFG said the brands “exemplify the rise of national trends, blending traditional culture with modern design” across the fashion, sports, beauty and lifestyle sectors.
The brands are:
- Bloomage Bio Technology Corporation (skincare innovation)
- Giant Biogene Holding Co (biotech-driven beauty)
- Shanghai Chando Group Co (eco-conscious cosmetics)
- Eve Group (traditional craftsmanship meets modern design)
- Xian You San Ding Culture & Art Adverting Co (cultural art revitalisation)
- Putian Cangyuntang Art Co (heritage-inspired collectibles)
- Youth Home Sporting Goods (sports lifestyle branding)
- Xiamen Tianxingke Digital Tech (digital cultural experiences)

CDFG pledged yo leverage its global distribution network, supply chain expertise and consumer insights to support these brands in product localisation, marketing and overseas channel expansion.
