Fans react to Travis Scott giving John Cena the assist at Wrestlemania: “Awful ending to what should’ve been a memorable moment”

WWE fans have taken to social media to react after the conclusion of the main event of WrestleMania 41 saw Travis Scott give John Cena some assistance.

The two-night tentpole event has so far seen appearances from musicians like Living Colour and Slayer, with the ‘FE!N’ rapper making a surprise appearance towards the end of the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Peacemaker star Cena and Cody Rhodes yesterday.

In front of a packed crowd at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium last night (April 20), Scott aligned himself with Cena, having previously appeared as an accomplice in attacking Rhodes with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in February. Later, Johnson shared that Scott was training for his inevitable in-ring debut.

Having walked out to surprise fans, Scott didn’t get involved initially, but yanked the referee out of the ring when it looked like Rhodes had the advantage, which led to the rapper being hit with Rhodes’ finishing move, the Cross Rhodes.
