Brad Dourif Joins Fiona Dourif in Max Series “The Pitt” Next Week [Image]

The legendary Brad Dourif is largely retired from acting these days, with the three-season “Chucky” television series being the only real exception to the rule. Dourif voiced killer doll Chucky throughout the series, and he even played Charles Lee Ray in the flesh in the third season. When and where can you see Brad Dourif next? On Max’s medical drama, “The Pitt”!

A sneak peek at the fourteenth episode of the debut season of Max’s “The Pitt,” which airs on Thursday, April 3, reveals that Brad Dourif will make an appearance on the show.

What’s extra special about Brad Dourif’s role on “The Pitt” next week is that he looks to be playing the father of Dr. Cassie McKay, who is played by his real-life daughter Fiona Dourif. Before landing a role on “The Pitt,” Fiona of course starred alongside her dad in “Chucky” – and in a fun little twist, Fiona Dourif actually ended up playing Brad Dourif on the show!

It’s interesting to note that fellow “Chucky” actor Jackson Kelly will also be appearing in next week’s fourteenth episode of “The Pitt,” making the hour a big time “Chucky” reunion!

A fusion of the classic network medical drama of “ER” and the intense real-time thrills of “24,” Max’s “The Pitt” stars Noah Wyle and follows the daily lives of healthcare professionals in a Pittsburgh hospital as they juggle personal crises, workplace politics, and the emotional toll of treating critically ill patients. The first season will feature fifteen episodes in total.
