Seven Sisters

Shrinking
Emmy winner Jeff Daniels is joining the third season of Apple TV+ series “Shrinking”. Daniels will play the father of Jason Segel’s Jimmy in a guest arc for the new run which may not be the last with co-creator/writer/director Bill Lawrence previously hinting at going beyond the original three-season plan. Billion Dollar Spy
Walden Media and Weed Road Pictures are teaming for the Cold War thriller “Billion Dollar Spy” with Oscar winner Russell Crowe and “Industry” breakout Harry Lawtey set to topline. Oscar-winning writer Stephen Gaghan (“Syriana,” “Traffic”) wrote the most recent draft, revising a script penned by Ben August based on the book by David E. Hoffman.

Set against the high-stakes backdrop of the late Cold War, Crowe plays Adolf Tolkachev – an ordinary man who risks everything to pass thousands of pages of top-secret Soviet intelligence to the U.S. Despite repeated rejections by a wary CIA, Tolkachev finally found an ally in CIA agent Tom Lenihan (Lawtey). Golden Globe Awards
Comedian Nikki Glaser will return as the host of next year’s Golden Globe Awards in January 2026 following a successful run as the first female solo host of a Globes telecast earlier this year.

The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will be planned and produced by Dick Clark Productions, and will be broadcast in more than 185 countries and territories worldwide. [Source: THR]

Myron Bolitar
Emmy winner David E. Kelley (“The Lincoln Lawyer,” “Boston Legal”) has boarded Netflix’s planned TV series adaptation of author Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolitar novels.

Bolitar is a fomer top basketball player-turned-owner of agency representing sports stars and celebrities. Around one-third of Coben’s 34 books are Bolitar novels. Along with writing, Kelley and Coben are executive producing the potential series. [Source: Deadline]

Paradise
The first season finale of Dan Fogelman’s Hulu drama “Paradise” reportedly attracted 6.3 million views globally in seven days according to Disney. That’s a season-high audience.

Disney previously reported the first episode rew 7 million views in nine days and to date has amassed 17.6 million global views. The Sterling K. Brown-led series has
