Fresh ‘Fear Street: Prom Queen’ Posters Pay Tribute to Vintage ‘Carrie’ and ‘Prom Night’ Art

We are now just ten days away from the Netflix premiere of new teen slasher Fear Street: Prom Queen, which is set to begin streaming only on Netflix on May 23, 2025.

The film is not only set in the 1980s but also pays tribute to horror classics from the time period, and two new posters from Netflix today serve as their own fun little homages.

These Fear Street: Prom Queen posters pay tribute to the vintage original artwork for Carrie and Prom Night, two movies that no doubt inspired this latest Fear Street movie.

In the upcoming horror movie, “Welcome back to Shadyside. In this next installment of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, prom season at Shadyside High is underway, and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown.
